And even if they don't: You made the thing. With more freedom, autonomy, power and control than you'd have had elsewhere. BEST MEDIUM.

I keep forgetting how many people are on the project I’m working on right now, I think it’s 15 or 16 counting me. It even has some commentary that “even if things don’t turn out how you planned or even hoped, you still made a thing and that’s an achievement on its own”

I think that’s the sentiment for people to take in, doing a thing. And then, make yourself available to join a team. Someone else’s ideas can really help you get your own thoughts further along. I’ve really noticed that with having a designer who is also an editor that has ideas I wouldn’t have thought of or encountered, and, having experience is able to steer this ship of fools

When people ask advice about making comics I always tell them: Just do it no one can stop you. All you need is a pen and paper!
