I am extremely excited for your upcoming projects, you are such a genuine man whose work I will follow as long as I read comics.

Taking time off social media and short term dopamine hits is really good for clearing the head. What have you been reading?

Hey Brad! Thanks so much for asking. Right now I’m reading Trotsky’s History of the Russian Revolution, the Fagles Iliad translation, the third volume of Slaine comics, and this book of rousing anarchist agitprop, Days of War, Nights of Love.

Simple question, complicated answer! The book isn't so much about inventing a new system as it is about discussing how deeply flawed and all encompassing the current one is. Though, extrapolating out, I imagine the authors' dream scenario would be something that falls under the category of decentralized, democratic anarchy.

That is interesting. I do think our government is too centralized and neither side of the political spectrum wants to change that. Revolutions are an interesting thing to study because a lot of them devolve into authoritarian rule but leaving a king in power or another despot is not good either. What do you think?

After writing and rewriting a half dozen responses, I came to the realization: We've officially reached the "Requires discussion in a dark bar" stage of this conversation!

I laughed at that, audibly, at work, during state testing. Thank you.

This is a conversation I've had at different times in my life, with different people, in different bars or family events. Thank you for engaging with me.
